We would like to remind you at this stage also to reconsider your need to travel to the US Virgin Islands and the US territory of Puerto Rico. They are still recovering from extensive damage to their electrical grid from the recent hurricanes in the region. Last week the figure was only 15% of customers receiving power and it has gone down to 13.7% without power as of 17th October. Puerto Rico Governor, Ricardo Rossello, has stated he hopes to have 95% of power restored by December this year. Generators are making up for some power outages in populated areas, however the situation as a whole is still quite dire.
